What is a zine?
A zine is a self published book of artwork and sometimes written work. Zines can be physical, digital or both. The Fossil Fighters Zine is fully digital.What does the Fossil Fighters Zine focus on?
The Fossil Fighters Zine is a zine made to celebrate our love of the series! Artists and writers gather together to make a single piece of work to concentrate all of our love for the game into one place.Where can I see Volume 1?

Signups will be happening from November 21st to December 14th. A signup form will be posted on Bluesky and Tumblr when the time comes!What does X role do in the zine?
Page artists create a single (vertical composition) or double page (horizontal composition) spread.
Spot artists create a piece of art that goes with a piece of writing. They work closely with a writer to breathe life into their piece.
Merch artists create smaller pieces such as icons, emotes or stickers. They can make fully digital merch (emotes, icons, backgrounds, etc) or printable merch (bookmarks, stickers, etc).
Writers create a standalone piece of writing within a set word count.What content will be allowed in the zine?
The zine focuses on the canon of the three games, though headcanons and ocs are allowed. The only thing not allowed are AUs (Alternate Universes).

Hey there! I've been a fan of Fossil Fighters since the first game came out. I have been a contributor in various fanzines and other events. I'm currently modding for Reach for the Stars, a Sonic Space Zine and the STH Big Bang 2026. I ran the Fossil Fighters Zine last year and am excited to continue running it for Volume 2!

I'm Dunkin. I've mostly been active in the Sonic community in the past as an artist where I met my good friend Cat-Dragron. I started dipping my toes into Fossil Fighters when he expressed interest in doing a zine and I offered to help mod. I'm still learning the Fossil Fighter ropes but I love being here. My favorite dinosaur has to be triceratops and my favorite vivosaur is tricera. Thanks for having me!
